We will be in Pemberton, Mn on Dec. 4th for the Holiday Festival in the Main Street Plaza. Be sure and check out the Fair & Square exhibition at the Carnegie Art Center in Mankato from Dec. 2 to the 18th.

Saturday was the Holiday Fare in St. Peter. We had a very good crowd in spite of the dreary weather. Helen also made the Saturday deadline for the Fair and Square exhibition at the Carnegie Art Center in Mankato. She only learned of the event on Friday and still managed to paint a mask for the event in a 24 hour period. Coming up she will be doing an interview on KTOE.

The Wall

Interesting back ground on this one. Helen say's she was influenced some what by Pink Floyd's song "The Wall" but it is actually a wall in an old school that was built in 1876. A chunk of plaster had fallen off and imbedded in the plaster was pieces of newspaper and an old candy wrapper from Wriggly's gum company.

Self Conflict

HEFM could very well be the most significant Surrealist since Salvado Dahli. This has been a year of coming out and the response has been at times over-whelming. Statements like, "remember us when your famous, ...never seen anything like this before, .....I would expect to see something like this in San Francisco, ...powerful, ..wow, and many more are the things I have heard about her work. She will have a showing November 1st at the Stones Throw Art gallery in St. Peter, Mn. I will continue following up with more dates on shows.
